We loved our stay here! Food was super delicious and the service perfect. They even gave us a table for 5 although we came 30 mins before they closed. Highly recommended!
A quaint little Italian restaurant that serves Milanese. It was recommended by my tour guide and it did not disappoint. I did not have a reservation so I went in early when doors opened and they were kind enough to give me a table before the guests with reservations arrived. They threw in a complementary entreé. They even advised me against ordering a starter because the main dish I ordered was heavy. In the end they gave me half a starter since I wanted to try it anyway.
The main dish I ordered was the classic Milanese dish Ossobuco served with a Milanese risotto. It was a very well cooked cut of meat that almost melted in my mouth and was effortless when it came to cutting portions with the fork and knife. It was a tad too saltier than what I am used to but no complaints otherwise.
It's a heavy dish but I was very hungry and manage to polish the plate off. The staff was visibly impressed because the person serving me seemed to have shown the others my plate and they took a peek in my direction. 😅
Their desserts are home made so u went for the Tiramisu which didn't disappoint either. Great staff, great service and great food. Highly recommended. Reservations advised.
Perfect place to try traditional Milanese cuisine. Amazing service and homely atmosphere, and well priced for what you get! It seems to be a go-to for locals too.
It is a perfect place for a tasty milanese meal. We got a little welcome, which was very good. It was a little bit crunchy and spicy - suprising in a good way. As a main course we got risotto milanese and cotoletto with baked potatoes and mayo sauce. These were big portions (but also on the more pricy side). Both meals were impeccable, however I could do some siding to balance the taste. Restaurant looks nice and staff was very kind.
Forget about Duomo, you haven’t experienced Milan if you haven’t eaten the osso buco here…. The ravioli was so delicious and unique with a pumpkin filling. The server was outstanding and our waiter was absolutely perfect! Must visit when in Milan 🤌🏼🤩
We had the osobucco with risotto Milanese and the risotto with porcini mushrooms. Everything was really tasty. (The osobucco is quite big so it's better to share it) :)
The people working there were very nice and attentive. We were even served delicious complimentary arancini.
the pumpkin ravioli was one of the best meals i’ve had in italy and the service was amazing, i can’t recommend this place enough!
I was looking for a place within walking distance to my hostel. When I searched, this came up online, and I’m so glad it did. My meal was one of the best I had during my stay in Milan. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli and it blew my mind. The pasta was homemade and almost had the texture of a light dumpling. The filling was flavorful and plenty. The bonus points were the sprinkled Parmesan cheese. It was buttery, salty and gave a little zip to the dish. I will dream about those ravioli. The wait staff were extremely kind and spoke English with a smile (since I don’t speak Italian). If you’re looking for an authentic Milanese restaurant, this is your chance!
